1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of every government office. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve a file, perform an official check, or submit paperwork for a user.

Its purpose is to identify custodians of Medina County records, such as the sheriff, local courts, Texas DPS, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and to provide links to outside research tools. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public information held by state and local bodies, while sections 411.083 and 411.135 govern dissemination of criminal-history information. Those laws do not turn this private site into a records custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means against the pages
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or data
• Interfere with site speed, access, or another visitor's use
• Use information to threaten, harass, or stalk a person
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Violate a federal, Texas, or local law through your use of the service

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information found here or through a linked tool to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may be criminal. Texas Public Sex Offender Registry information calls for particular care under Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62. Its public purpose is safety and community awareness, not retaliation, vigilantism, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Our advertising partners and this site do not provide tools designed to evaluate applicants, borrowers, insurance risks, or renters. You must not use information from this site or a linked service to:

• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
• Evaluate a rental or housing application
• Make a hiring or termination choice
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

Any legally permissible official check must come through the Texas Department of Public Safety or an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider.

Medina County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. You may not reproduce, alter, distribute, or create derivative material from it without prior written permission.

10. Indemnification

Texas law governs these terms. A dispute connected with use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions. A revision takes effect when the updated terms are posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend, restrict, or end access at any time and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be changed only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
